Investigate the Rumors is an Objective in Ride the Giant Horse in Tears of the Kingdom

You ran into Baddek, a horse-lover who found a beautiful crystal in the mountains southwest of the Faron Grasslands. Baddek said he'll give the crystal to you if you bring him the giant horse that's rumored to be in the area. Ask near Highland Stable east of the grasslands to see if anyone knows about this giant horse.
Walkthrough[edit]
- Make your way to the Highland Stable.
- Travel out to Utsushok Shrine.
- Here you will need to learn about the Giant White Stallion.
- The best source is Padok.
- Talking with him, you'll learn that the Giant White Stallion can be found to the at the nearby Lake of the Horse God to the Southeast.
- Either you can head over there using a Zonai Vehicle or by taking out a horse from the Stable.
- Go for the nearby Lake of the Horse God, either going across the grass to the Lake or take the longer route following the road.
- Be careful as you approach the Horse God Bridge because there is a Stone Talus at the Northwestern foot of it!
- Get across the bridge and go to the camp site you see in front of you.
- Here, you can find Jini and Straia.
- Talking with them, you will learn that the horse is ahead, and nearly impossible to tame.
- It's found just ahead and will be a challenge.
- Either you can directly approach the Stallion or climb up the side and glide down.
- Approaching the Stallion directly requires careful stealth to come up behind it.
- Leap onto its back and then immediately start soothing it.
- It will take about 2.5 Stamina Wheels to get the stallion mostly under control.
