Defeat Dolan is a Quest in Trials of Mana (TrialsofMana).

Walkthrough[edit]

• Pursuing Dolan brings the party to the Chartmoon Tower to defeat the Benevedon of the Moon.
• This fight is on top of the Chartmoon Tower, which is a LONG climb, so be ready.
• Smash the Blue Pots outside to recharge your CS gauge if needed, after that just head up the stairs and open the doors.
• Once inside, head to the Northeastern corner to find a room with a chest that has a Gold Item Seed inside it.
• Going into the Southeastern corner room will bring you into a fight with Succube and Gobfiends.
• After that, head through the Northwestern door to move up to the first level.
  • Level 1
• Through the door and exiting the room the party you arrive in, they will encounter Silverwolves just outside.
• Time to explore the first floor after the fight, head to the South, to the Southwestern corner room.
• Inside is the other path down and a Sparkle with a Silver Item Seed.
• Head from there over to the Southeastern corner, having to fight Silverwolf and Grislwolf who are guarding it.
• Inside is a chest with 2943 lucre.
  • Level 2
• To continue upwards, head to the Northeastern room and take the stairs there upwards.
• On the second floor, just outside this room are more Silverwolves and Succube to battle.
• From there, head over to the West along the Northern side.
• In the Northwestern room is a pit to quickly drop down to the previous floor.
• Go to the Southwestern corner to find Silverwolf, Grislwolf, and Succube.
• Through that door is the path upwards to the next level.
• From there, continue over to the Southeastern corner to find another small room with Gobfiends and Cerberus, one of them can summon Gold Bulette.
• After that, return to the Southwestern room and take the stairs up to the third floor.
  • Third Floor
• Head into the corridor, though do note the break in the floor to the North which will drop you back to floor 2.
• Just outside the party will encounter 2 Succube and a Gobfiend.
• Defeat them and head into the Southeastern room.
• This room is more pit than anything, so move carefully to avoid dropping to the previous floor.
• In the Southeastern corner of the room is a chest with Dolan's Ring.
• From there, you can head to the North to take on more 2 Griswolves.
• Through the door those 2 are guarding is a Silver Goddess Statue and the stairs up to the next level.
  • Fourth Floor
• Turn to the South arriving on this floor to encounter 2 Gobfiends and 2 Silverwolves.
• Going into the Southeastern room you will find a Sparkle with 1 Chocolate.
• Head over to the West from there to go into the Southwestern room to find a Chest that is a Polter Box (Armored) which will drop a Gold Item Seed.
• Going to the North from there the party will encounter another group of Monsters: Gobfiends and Succube.
• Open the door and head up the nearby stairs to reach the next floor.
  • Fifth Floor
• Head outside of the room you arrive in.
• In the middle of the walkway here is a pair of Griswolves.
• Continue over to the East and take the stairs in the Northeastern room to ascend to the next level.
  • Sixth Level
• Byu this guide, you will be on a path that runs North to South.
• In the middle of this walkway are Gobfiends and a Succube.
• Defeat them to clear the way to the Southeastern room, and the path forward, going down.
  • Fifth Floor
• Back on this floor, you will encounter a Succube, Gobfiend and Grislwolf.
• Go across the path to the Wert and return back up a level.
  • Sixth Floor
• Back here, head to the North to find another group of monsters: Silverwolf.
• Defeat them and head to the Northwestern chamber and use those stairs to go upwards.
  • Seventh Floor
• This floor has 2 parts, an outer ring and
• Go to the South to find Li'l Cactus.
• Start by going to the East to begin your search of the floor.
• Going into the Northeastern chamber to encounter Gobfiends and Silverwolf.
• Defeat them and head through the Southern door of this chamber.
• In this Eastern corridor is the walkway up to the middle section that will let you reach the top of the tower, for now, go past it to complete the circuit and find all the chests and Li'l Cactus.
• In the Southeastern chamber you can find Gobfiends and Succube.
• In the corner of the room is a chest with an ??? Seed.
• Head out of this chamber to the West after that and into the Southwestern chamber of this level.
• This chamber has 2 Silverwolves and a Gobfiend.
• There is also a Sparkle here with 210 lucre.
• From here, head tot he North, stopping just before the next door.
• Look over to the right to find Lil Cactus.
• Make your way back to the Eastern corridor after that.
• Take the stairs up to the top of the central platform.
• Up here, you will encounter Silverwolf, Grislwolves and a Succube.
• Defeat them and go up the first flight of stairs.
• On the right-hand side, you will find a Golden Goddess Statue to use to heal and save.
• Do this, check your equipment and items to be ready for the fight against Dolan.
• Take the stairs on the left to reach the rooftop, and once there, use either to reach the top and encounter Dolan.

Fight Dolan[edit]

• Time to take on the Benevedon of the Moon.
• Dolan is a massive foe, slamming down its claws or swiping with them across the back of the tower to hit everyone in its range.
• When using targeted spells, aim for Dolan's Head.
• Focus on Gravity Crush when it is summoned.
• Dolan's power here manifests as a Sphere with a life bar, if not destroyed it will unleash a very powerful attack.
• Breaking the sphere will stun Dolan, giving a great chance to unleash Class Strikes.
