"Place runes" is a mission objective in the quest Dwarven Allies in Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep DLC
Walkthrough[edit]
After you come through the portal head on up the stairs to the first landing. You need to place the letters from left to right to spell out "RAFT".
After the first attempt to speak the phase fails, Mordecai will figure out what the phrase is. The runes are returned to you and you need to now spell out "FART". Place them all on their pedestals then interact with the middle marker to complete the quest.
Dialogue[edit]
Vault Hunter: "Uhm ... raft."
Lilith: "Was that not the password?"
After placing the runes a second time:
Mordecai: "Ugh, god ... I just figured it out."
Brick: "So say it."
Mordecai: "Fine. It's (sigh) ... 'Fart."
Tina: "AHAHAHAHAHAHA"
Mission turn in:
Claptrap: "Guys! Guys! Did somebody say fart?! What a stinky thing to say!"
Tina: "You ruin everything."
