Walkthrough[edit]
- This is a hard boss fight, so be ready for a bit of a learning curve.
- Immediately start running to avoid the buzz saw that starts revving up in the barrier in front of you.
- Watch the floor throughout the whole of the fight because it can get super heated before a long jet of flames comes out of it.
- The fire will progress from the Agonzier 900 out to the edge of the arena through each of the 3 sections.
- If you hear Pain call out "It's the Mega Blender!" get ready to think on your feet.
- The Blender either is at chest height or ground height.
- With chest, you need to run at the blade and slide underneath it to avoid damage
- When the blade is at ground level simply run and jump over it.
- This is the worst time to get knocked into Fight for your life.
- Hope there is a Bandit nearby for a quick kill to get your revive.
- When you get the Agonizer 9000 is nearly out of armor (and below), the Mega-Blender will move a rotation around the arena before changing its rotation and its position.
- Watch what is happening for this attack when the Agonizer has this attack going.
- Once the Agonizer 9000 is about through its Armored Health Bar, there will be a lot area attacks.
- The saw blades will increase to 3, and entire sections of the arena will heat up.
- Getting through the armor will change how the Agonizer 9000 attacks, as its Eridium Core is now exposed.
- It has a Purple Life bar that you need to work your way through.
- The Core only has a slow moving tracking beam that leaves a burning trail.
- The core fires from a fixed angle, so take advantage of that to move out of its range to recover health.
- Use the random bandits as needed for recovery if you get knocked down.
