"Deactivate force field" is a mission objective in the story mission "Intelligences of the Artificial Persuasion" in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
Walkthrough[edit]
Turn to the South and drop through the open shaft. This will bring you into Security. Go around and around to the side of the middle wall. On the far wall from where you came in you will find the Security Console.
Head over to it and interact with it to disable the force field blocking your way to the Bosun.
