Breath of the Wild: The Spring of Wisdom

The Spring of Wisdom is one of the sidequests in LoZ:BotW

The Spring of Wisdom is a Quest (Sidequest) in the game The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Talk with Medda in Hateno Village. He will tell you about a spring found on the summit of Mount Lanayru that Princess Zelda went to for purification.
You want Cold Resistance Gear, Food or Armor at least Rank 1 and long duration.
Approaching the summit of Mount Lanayru will prompt the Goddess Hylia to convey the tale of Naydra and her corruption.
To release the dragon, Link must clear the corruption from Naydra by destroying the eyes.
There are 4 Corruption Eyes on the Dragon: Head, Tail and 2 on the body: Spines and Stomach.
The one on the underside of Naydra is found at the section where her third set of legs would be.
The Corruption Eye on Naydra's Spines is found just past her fourth set of legs.
Naydra will begin still, just above the Goddess Statue. Aim for any of the eyes within bow-shot.
Any time you are aiming for an eye, be sure to lead your shot just slightly because of Naydra's constant movement speed.
Once the first eye has been hit, Naydra will take flight and start circling the summit of Mount Lanayru.
You can climb upwards to the summit yourself using the large ice crystals coming up from the ground.
Updrafts can be found on the Northern side of the mountain.
Reaching the heights of Mount Lanayru can help a lot to ensure Link can have a shot at any of the Corruption Eyes.
The dragon will then move to the West, down the mountain, after another Eye has been destroyed.
Glide along using the updrafts that the Dragon creates, aim carefully for the Eyes that are still on the Dragon and pick them off one at a time.
The dragon will remain in the lower area until you finish clearing the remaining corruption.
With the corruption cleared, Link will be teleported back to the Spring of Wisdom.
The Goddess will ask you to perform the final part of this ritual, shoot Naydra with an arrow.
The dragon will start to glow where the arrow hits and a Naydra's Scale will fall to the ground in front of the Goddess Statue. Collect it from the ground
Bring the Naydra's Scale to the water in front of the statue.
Hold the Naydra's Scale over the water in front of the statue and drop it in.
The Scale will vanish and the doors will open to Jitan Sa'mi Shrine behind the Goddess Statue.

Medda:Hey! Traveler, right? I could tell. Well, there's not a whole lot to see in this village, but knock yourself out.

Link: Nothing of interest?

Medda: Well... "Nothing" might be going a little bit overboard... We do have a dye shop. I don't think they have one of those in other towns. We also have Mount Lanayru way up to the north. See it?

Link: Mount Lanayru?

Medda: Yeah, Mount Lanayru's interesting... The Spring of Wisdom the princess of Hyrule used for purification is said to be somewhere on that mountain. A special fountain? that the princess had to endure hardship to visit? I bet the royal family left a treasure there! ... Well, at least maybe they could've. I would've if I was royal. Anyway, Mount Lanayru is a mysterious place, and it's engulfed in ice. If there IS treasure, no one's getting it. Well... if you have some time to kill, feel free to have a look around up there.

Goddess Hylia: You have doner well to find your way to this spring. You who have overcome numerous trials and obtains the Spirit Orbs... The one you see before you is an attendant to the Spring of Wisdom. This is Naydra, the blue spirit of Lanayru. This servant of the Goddess has looked over the spirits of this land for ages, unknown to the world of man. However, the dreaded Malice unleashed by Calamity Ganon has possessed its body and reduced it to this state. You who have received the Spirit Orbs... Free Naydra from this Malice. Show what your power can achieve!

Goddess Hylia: Thanks to your efforts, Naydra, the spirit of Mount Lanayru, has been freed from the grips of an evil power. But a single ceremony remains. Now... Loose your arrow through the body of Naydra to free the spirit of this region!

Goddess Hylia: Your path has shown itself. Now go forth.
