ESO: Collect Portal Stones - The Citadel Must Fall

"Collect Portal Stones" is a quest objective/task in the quest The Citadel Must Fall in The Elder Scrolls Online

I've made it into the Upper City of the Reaver Citadel. Now I need to find the Portal Stones needed to power the Portal within the Mages Guild.

Walkthrough[edit]

The Upper City has numerous groups of Dremora spread around it. Be careful moving around to not pull more than you can handle. More are groups of three with a few odd pairs. The first trio to the North is Dremora Kyngald and 2 Dremora Churl. You can slip by them by jump up the side of the stairs.

The first pair, to the Northwest, is of a Fearkyn and a Dremora Kynbek. Just beyond them, is the first of the stones you are searching for. It sits in the cart just next to them.

Head into the archway to the Southwest. Once there watch carefully for the Dremora Kyngald. if you want to avoid fighting, wait for the Dremora to move away. Then you can step through the Archawy and turn to the Southeast. You will see the second Portal Stone sitting on the group nearby a ruined statue. There's still a good chance that the Kyngald will notice you.

Head over to the West now. take out the Dremora Kyngald if you haven't already. After that cut across the road to the entrance of the Mages Guild. Just to the left of the door you will find the next Portal Stone. It is defended by a pair of Dremora Churl.

Turn to the South now. Just one stone left now. If you follow the road there are 2 more Dremora Churl you need to defeat. Most will just head around the archway and ignore it. After that just head for the covered area to the Southeast. Toward the middle of it you will find the final Portal Stone. it is guardede by a Churl and a Kyngald. Defeat them then grab the Portal Stone sitting in the middle of the area.
