"Headshots" refer to shots aimed at an enemy's head in Fortnite Battle Royale.

Headshots do a lot more damage than normal shots, up to 2.5x
Headshots are harder to hit though, since you have to aim at the head specifically which can be a very small target depending on the distance.
Headshots are most effective with the following types of weapons:

every weapon has a 2.5x multiplier, except for AR's (m16 and scar) which have a multiplier of 2x

- Always aim for the head if possible.
