The directional jump pad can launch you in different directions, giving you more horizontal velocity.

- Unlike other traps that are only triggered by enemies stepping on them, the jump pad can also be triggered by you.
- You take no fall damage after landing when using the jump pad, regardless of how far you fell.
- You can use the jump pad to jump off tall buildings or other high places and not die from fall damage.
