Strategy Guide/Tips[edit]

  • Until you get the AtlasPass v1, certain containers or doors will say "AtlasPass v1 Required" when you try to interact with them.
  • The AtlasPass v1 is good for infinite uses, unlike the Bypass Chip which is consumed on use.
  • Go to a space anomaly that is basically a rusted space station. In it there are two characters, a Korvax Priest Nada and a Gek called Polo. Polo will give you an atlas pass v1. After that, go to operations centers or manufacture centers and you may get them by chance. Its pretty rare however, so you have to have the patience to grind it out.
  • The v1 Atlas pass blueprint is given to you the first time you visit an anomaly. An anomaly should should be in the first system you warp to after visiting your first Atlas station. The v2 and v3 Atlas pass blueprints are acquired from operations centres (search for colonial outposts at signal scanners) on planets, though at least originally it was bugged and only available on Korvax planets. Personally I've only managed to get the v3 pass myself but it also opens doors which require a v2 pass.
  • Nada and Polo are not required to receive the Atlas Passes. I received both v1 and v3 in my starter system. It is absolutely possible to find them this early in the game. Colonial Outposts/Operation outposts are where they are located. But if you keep talking to Polo he should give you all 3 of them after a while.
  • Alien colonists live and work in the larger buildings on planets. Walk in and have some interaction with them. Apparently Solo wants you to have talked to a few of them. You can find these building using the locator beam and searching for Colonial Outposts.
