Walkthrough[edit]
Talk with Tolfdir after having completed Hitting the Books. He will tell you that he has misplaced his Alembic somewhere in the college. You just need to head over to the Hall of Countenance.
Inside the Hall of Countenance, there are 3 places it can be. One is on the ground floor, while the other two are on the floor above.
Ground Floor:
- On a crate in the eastern room
Top Floor
- Northern room. On top of a barrel to the right of the dinner table
- Western Room. Underneath the display case to the left of the Arcane Enchanter
Collect the Alembic and head back to where Tolfdir is. He will thank you for finding his equipment and reward you.
