South Park: The Stick of Truth is a video game adaption of the South Park series on Comedy Central.
In this game, players take on the role of a New Kid who finds his place among the South Park crew as they battle for the fate of the town in a make-believe magical war.

South Park: The Stick of Truth has had a turbulent development history.
It was announced on the cover of Game Informer magazine in 2011. At the time, it was still being developed by Obsidian but was going to be published by THQ.
As THQ ran into harsh financial straits, they pushed the game forward for release in hopes of making enough money to continue publishing games for more time. Unfortunately, the company shut down and was forced to auction off their assets before South Park could release. Ubisoft picked up the publishing rights to the game during the auction.
The Stick of Truth continued development, as creative leads Trey Parker and Matt Stone have said that the creative process of writing for a game has taken vastly longer and been much more difficult than they had anticipated.
