Expect to encounter a few Goblins patrolling around the entrance of the Barren Mine. Approach the entrance after dealing with them and head inside.
Barren Mine

Inside the Mine, start by heading forward to the turn to the right. The nearby small chamber has a Goblin inside it. Deal with them quickly. Head over to the Eastern side of this chamber to find a Locked Chest (Average). Look to the crates to the left of the chest to find a pair of Lockpicks.
Turn and head to the South in this chamber. You’ll find a door in front of you. Open it to encounter a few more Dust Eater Goblins. Go over to the Western part of this area after that and look behind the support pillar. You can find a Chest against the back of the pillar. Head to the tunnel to the South after that.
This short tunnel leads to another door. Through the door you will find another chamber. Turn to the Southern alcove you can spot to find a Chest. Continue to the East down another tunnel and reach the connecting chamber. Inside this one is a pair of Goblins. One of these is likely the Goblin War Chief.
This chamber has a Locked Rusty Door (Average) in the Northeastern corner. There is also a door to the North. Through that door you can find the Dust Eater Shaman. The Shaman has the Dust Eater Cell Key. This will let you access the Rusty Door without picking the lock.

After that, head to the North down this short tunnel. This will lead you to a small chamber with some good rewards in it. Look to the Southern side as you enter to find a chest sitting just past the boards. Head to the Eastern end of the chamber to find 4 Petty Soul Gems sitting on the crate to the right of the Cauldron of Skulls.
