Entrance

Approaching the entrance of the Cave, you can see a few headstones. There are some plants around, a Arrowroots, Beramot, Fennel, Flax, Ginseng, Lady’s Mantle, Lily of the Valley, Tiger Lilies, Goldenrod.

Smoke Hole Cave

Head forward and down the slope to enter into the first chamber of the Smoke Hole Cave.

There is a bridge that goes across a chasm. In the chasm are a few enemies: Undead and an animal. You can head to the Northwest to find a small opening that will lead you down to the chasm via a few paths.

This has a Eastern branch that leads to the chasm itself. That gives you easy reach to the animals and Undead that are exploring

There is another path that leads to the West. You can find a few coffins. There is also a Locked Chest (Average) along the Northern side of the area. You can find a door here along the Western Wall that leads to the Smoke Hole Boot Tomb

Smoke Hole Boot Tomb

Entering from the Smoke Hole Cave, you are brought into an empty chamber. There are a few plants to find, but that’s it.

Head to the West and that will bring you into a massive chamber. On this high ledge, you can find a few Undead here. Go to the North (right) to find a small rise. At the foot of the rise is a Locked Chest (Average).

You can carefully drop off the ledge to reach the chasm below. There is a Boss Undead and other Undead meandering about here. From there, head to the Northwestern corner of this chasm, where you can see a Brazier. Sitting by that is a tunnel entrance.

Slip inside here to reach the Western side of the chamber. As you pass through this tunnel, look for the next brazier, where you can find a Chest sitting on its left-hand side.

Continue to the South from there to reach the Western side where an animal is moving about. After that, head to the South and enter the next tunnel to keep exploring. Take the slope up, turning left at the brazier inside the tunnel, to reach the next chamber.

This is a small chamber with Undead and animals moving around in it. Search the middle to find a few broken crates, but also a Chest on the Northern side of it. Continue through this area by heading to the East. Follow the tunnel’s upward slope to the East.

At the top of the slope, turn to the Left (North). You can find a Chest sitting in the corner there. Keep going to the East after that. This will bring you into a tunnel with a Brazier. You will want to head Northward at that Brazier to reach the next chamber.

Inside this chamber, head for the middle. There’s a small depression with a Chest in it. Be mindful as you explore, since the roots coming from the ceiling can obscure Undead that are patrolling around here. Look to the East of those roots along the ground to find another Chest somewhat covered by the dirt. You can continue deeper into the Cave by heading to the Northern end of the room. You’ll find another Wooden Door, and this one leads into an adjacent chamber.

This leads to a hole that is above the entrance to this area. Follow the slope upwards to the next brazier. Just in front of the Brazier is a hole in the floor. You just need to drop down to return tot he entrance chamber for the Boot Tomb.

Smoke Hole Cave

From the entrance of the Boot Tomb, you will want to head out of the chamber wit the door to the Boot Tomb and head to the North along the split path that’s to the East. This will bring you into the upper portion of the large chamber in this section. This tunnel has statues on both of its sides. It’s here you can head to the Northward tunnel. Follow the tunnel’s upslope.

Open the door at the end of the tunnel. There are more Undead waiting on the other side of the door. This leads into a small crypt chamber with a number of broken coffins. Along the Northern wall is the door that will lead into the Brass Tomb.

Smoke Hole Brass Tomb

Entering here, you will be in a medium-sized chamber. There are the usual mushrooms scattered around.

Head to the Northwestern corner of the room to find a rise with a Chest tucked away on it. There are 3 tunnels out of this chamber, 1 to the East and West, and 1 to the North.

If you head to the East, you will follow the tunnel and its downslope. An Undead and an animal are moving about in this room. Look to the Northwestern corner of the room to find a Locked Chest (average) sitting there. Head to the East after that.

This will lead you into a tunnel. Turn to the Left (North) to follow the tunnel into the next small chamber. This tunnel has a few slabs in the middle of the room. You want to look to the left (West) to the rise there. Sitting on top of it is a Chest. Head to the Northern tunnel to continue.

Following this tunnel will bring you into a medium chamber. Just inside, to the left, is a Heavy Chest. Inside this chest is the Smoke Tomb Outer Key. There is also an Undead nearby as well to deal with. After that, take the slope up to the West. You want the Smoke Tomb Outer Key (Very Hard Lock otherwise) to open the Northwestern door leading out of this chamber and into the final one. There’s another Undead to the South in the upper potion of this room.

Unlocking the Door with the Smoke Tomb Outer Key leads to a short tunnel with another closed door on the other side. Open it to reach the final chamber of the Tomb.

This is a massive tomb with a number of Undead moving around it. There’s a raised altar in the middle of it. On top of that, you can find a few skeletons and an equal number of swords. Go to the Western side, and the Western Rock pillar. On its Western side you can find a Locked Chest (Very Hard) sitting there.

Back in that first chamber, if you go to the North, that will take you up a slope. At the top, look at the center of the Northern wall to find a Chest. There are a few mushrooms otherwise to find in this chamber. Head back down the slope into the entrance chamber.

Finally, there’s the tunnel to the West. Follow the slope downward. This leads into a multi-chamber crypt. Head to the West, but look a bit to the North. This is because there is a Chest sitting on the ground you can loot. Collect its contents then exit to the West.

This second chamber is much smaller. Turn to the South to find another Heavy Chest sitting on its side in the corner. Claim its contents, the Smoke Tomb Inner Key (this key is useless though). Turn to the North after that. You’ll see it leads into an adjacent chamber.

This chamber has a small altar with a chest and cauldron on it. This is just past a stone archway that goes over the middle of the room. You also need to deal with a few undead milling about the room nearby the altar. Search the Eastern side of the room. You will find another Chest sitting there.

That is everything inside the Tomb, so head back through the Brass Tomb to return to the main Smoke Hole Cave. Exit from there.
