Walkthrough

Talk to the Suitors

At the start of this, you can hear rumors about the interest in Camilla Valerius from almost anyone in Riverwood. Both Faendal and Sven are interested in her and can be found about the town. Both have very different schedules.

Faendal’s Schedule

• 11pm-4am – Sleeps in House
• 4am-7am – Hunts in nearby mountains
• 7am-7pm – Work Day*: Chopping wood, working at a table, relaxing looking at the White River.
• *7am-9am – Carry Wood to Alvor’s Forge
• *11am-1pm – Carry Wood to Alvor’s Forge
• *3pm-5pm – Carry Wood to Alvor’s Forge
• 7pm-10pm – Strolls about House
• 10pm-11pm – Dinner

Sven’s Schedule

• 2am-9am – Sleeps in House
• 9am-10am – Breakfast
• 10am-2am – Performing at the Sleeping Giant Inn

Faendal gets some recommendation because he can be a follower, is an Archery Trainer (lv. 0-50), be recruited by the Blades, and be recruited as a Personal Steward (with the Hearthfire DLC).

Sven can be recruited by the Blades, and can be a Follower.

All that said now, you need to choose who to approach first. They will explain their side and give you a letter. This is a Fake Letter from the other to be delivered to Camilla. If you sided with Sven, he’s written a fake letter from Faendal, and if you sided with Faendal, he gives you a fake letter from Sven.

Talking with the Opposition

With the Fake Letter from the other suitor in hand, you have a choice. You can either deliver the letter directly to Camilla or you can bring it to the other suitor.

Bringing the letter to the other suitor will have them respond in kind. They will write a letter

This Fake, That Fake or the Truth

Approach Camilla. Talk with her and you have a few choices for this quest. Here is where you can determine who will emerge as her suitor from this love triangle. Whomever you will be able to render you aid as a Follower (and later potentially recruited to the Blades). Give her the Fake Letter. You can either confirm its from the Suitor or tell her its a Fake written by the other. Whomever you back here will become your follower.

Camilla Valerius’s Schedule:

• 12am-7am – Sleeps at Home, the Riverwood Trader.
• 7am-8am – Breakfast
• 8am-6pm – Works in the Riverwood Trader
• 6pm-10pm – Relaxes at Sleeping Giant Inn
• 10pm-12am – Wanders Riverwood

Rewards

• 25 Gold
• Sven or Faendal as a Follower, whomever you aided

Notes

If you marry Camilla, and had helped either Faendal or Sven win her over, then something interesting happens. Having her relocate to any of your houses will have them actively travel to the house to be around her.
