These fruits are ingredients used in alchemy in Black Desert Online.
Can be obtained through farming
Overview[edit]
- Used for Skilled+ alchemy recipes, such as magic crystals or advanced potions.
- Fruits can be harvested from plant breeding from your fences (rarely).
- Specific crops will yield only specific fruits.
- You can also get these fruits by gathering wild herbs, plants and lumbering trees - however those will be random.
Table of Seeds[edit]
Fruit Type | Plant #1 | Plant #2 | Plant #3 | Plant #4 | Plant #5 |
Fruit of Abundance | Sunflowers | Strawberry | Grape | Onion
Fruit of Crimson Flame | Pepper | Garlic | Hot Pepper | Pumpkin | Olive |
Fruit of Destruction | Sky Mushroom | Dward Mushroom
Fruit of Enchantment | Silver azalea | Fire flake flower | Silk honey grass | Dry mane grass | Sunrise herb |
Fruit of Magic Power | Emperor mushroom | Hump mushroom
Fruit of Nature | Carrot | Barley | Seed potato | Sweet potato
Fruit of Perfection | Fog mushroom | Arrow mushroom | Cloud mushroom
Fruit of Sun | Tomato | Paprika | Wheat | Corn |
Strategy Guide/Tips[edit]
- There are 3 ways to get these fruits:
- 1) random rare bonus from any wild plant
- 2) random rare bonus from harvesting crops in your farm
- 3) not-random rare bonus when harvesting SEEDS in your farm.
- The table above refers to method #3. For example, if you plant GARLIC, let it grow to 100%, and then harvest the SEEDS, you have a %chance to get a Fruit of Crimson Flame (and ONLY a Fruit of Crimson Flame) during the harvest. Likewise, if you plant Emperor Mushrooms and harvest the hypha, you have a %chance to get a Fruit of Magic Power (and ONLY a Fruit of Magic Power) during the harvest.
- The %chance from harvesting SEEDS is (appears to be) higher than the %chance from harvesting CROPS.
- So, if you are specifically looking for Fruit of Crimson Flame, plant a ton of Garlic/pepper/pumpkin/olive, let it grow to 100%, harvest the seeds only, and re-plant. Cycle this a few times and you should wind up with several FoCF.
- There's a Calpheon quest for gathering 4 specific fruits that states higher quality plants have a higher chance
- Garlic seeds sell well, though Carrots/Sunflowers sell better harvested. Dwarf mushroom hyphas sell. Emperor sell sometimes, but others like Fog don't.
- 2-plot crops like Corn grants more seeds/harvest than 1-plots like wheat, but the Fruit chance didn't seem to be greater (small sample size, so this could be just poor RNG)
- fruit of enchantment is extremely common drop on special silver azalea seeds
- Save up the special excess crops you get, in case you ever go into alchemy stones.
