The Ancient Core is an Item in the game The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
It is a Material used for Crafting.
Description
This crystal was made using lost technology. At one time it was the power source for ancient machines. This item is very valuable to researchers.
Usage
Bring these cores to Hateno Ancient Tech Lab. Speak to Purah in Hateno. For the Ancient Cores, she will offer to upgrade your Runes.
You must have completed the Camera Rune quest to unlock the full functionality of the Sheikah Slate.

- Looted from:
- Guardians
- Dead guardians scattered across Hyrule (rarely)
