This is how a shield potion looks like in Fortnite BR. Easily recognized by its blue color.

The shield potion is a Consumable in Fortnite Battle Royale.

Description

A Shield Potion adds 50 armor to your character.

It takes 5 seconds to drink 1 shield potion.

When you take damage, that armor gets expended before your health is affected.

So for example if you have 100 health and 50 armor, and you take 40 damage, you will still be at full health and have 10 armor left.

You can have a max of 100 armor (so 2 shield potions)

Spawn

Shield Potions can be found in chests and in the wild.

They are somewhat uncommon to find.

Strategy Guide/Tips

  • Shield potions are considered extremely powerful. When you find one, consume it as soon as you are safe. It will give you a considerable advantage against other players.
  • Try to stay in cover as you drink the potion, as you are vulnerable while consuming it.
  • Shield Potions do not heal your health, they just add to your armor.
