Flame Atronach is a foe in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. These are the weakest and most common kind of Atronach.
Abilities
These creatures of flame count on their ranged attacks more than anything. They have 3 noted abilities: Firebolt, Flames and Flame Cloak. Flame cloak causes low Fire Damage over time to things nearby them. They will attack in melee only if they've drained out their magicka. Flames is a high sustained spell (think a flamethrower). Finally, Firebolt is a burst of fire shot from the Atronach.
All Flame Atronachs will explode when killed after a short delay. This applies to the ones the Dragonborn can summon (but they do not explode if their summon duration expires).
