Summary

Having completed the tutorial on the Great Plateau, Link is sent to Kakariko Village to meet with Impa. Impa explains everything that's happened while Link has been recovering.

Description

“You were tasked with going to Kakariko Village to speak with Impa, who will give you more details on your quest.

“Descend from the Great Plateau and head east beyond the Dueling Peaks, then follow the road to the north. The blinking dot on your Sheikah Stale’s map will guide the way.”

Walkthrough

Reach Kakariko Village

After having completed “Follow the Shiekah Slate” and “The Isolated Plateau,” it’s time to head for Kakariko Village. It helps to go for the Great Plateau Tower and then start gliding from there. Once you make it to the Kingdom of Hyrule, you will be making your way to the East, toward the split mountains.

Pass through the break and look for the first bridge passed the break, the Big Twin Bridge. Turn to the North and head across there. You’ll pass the Dueling Peaks Stable. Register your present Horse (if you haven’t already) and then continue to the North along the road.

This will bring you across Kakariko Bridge. Continue along the path up the slope to reach Kakariko Village.

Find Impa

Once inside Kakariko Village, head forward and talk with the woman nearby the entrance on the ground. She’ll explain that Impa can be found in her house at the base of Lantern Falls.

Ride down the road in front of you and you’ll quickly find the front of Impa’s House. There are 2 Guards in front of it: Cado and Dorian, They are surprised at Link’s appearance. They’ll part and let you take the stairs up.

Get to the top of the stairs, where you’ll meet Paya. She’ll tell you to just head inside to meet Impa. Go forward through the doors and enter the building.

Inside the building, a cutscene runs with Link meeting Impa. She explains what’s happened in the time that Link has been recovering. She will explain that she’ll share Zelda’s words, but Link must commit his life.

The conversation will end, but you just need to talk with her again. Commit to this cause. She’ll explain what’s happened. To defeat Ganon, Link needs to agree to liberate the 4 Divine Beast and set off on that task. She explains who controls each of the Beasts. Their locations are marked on the map at this point.
