• This quest can only be done at night.

Travel to Bridge of Hylia, Skull Lake, and Hebra Peak. At each location, you will need to look to the night sky after you arrive. This will cause a Red Shooting Star to fall from the Sky. Each of these stars will contain a piece of the Scavenger set.

Description

The southern sky from the middle of the largest bridge. The eastern sky from the skull’s left eye. The southeastern sky from the peak of the tall, pierced snowy mountain.

Look to the night sky at these locations and find the red shooting star.

Walkthrough

Triggering the Quest

This quest will automatically begin once you have installed the free DLC from Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

Star 1 – Location

Retrieving Star 1

Travel out to the Bridge of Hylia. You will want to make your way to center of the bridge. Clear away the Lizalfos that are around the fountain. Set up a campfire and pass time until night.

Once it’s night time, you will want to look to the Southern Night Sky. Keep some of the bridge in view. Watch and you’ll see red star come crashing down to the ground. Travel to the Southern foot of the bridge. Jump off to the Eastern side of it and look to the base of the tall hill the bridge is set on. Get down to the shore of Lake Hylia and you’ll find the red glowing star.

Approaching the star, it will resolve into a Red Treasure Chest. Open it to receive the Salvager Headware.

Star 2 – Location

Retrieving Star 2

Now, you will need to travel out to Skull Lake. If possible, head for Zuna Kai Shrine. This is the “right eye” of the skull for Skull Lake.

Go to the Eastern side of the shrine, hugging close to the shrine itself. Carefully look up into the sky. Scan along the Eastern horizon and sweep the stars in the sky. You will trigger the second star by looking around here.

The Star will come down to the East of the Shrine. If needed, use Ravali’s Gale for a quick boost to height to begin your glide over to the Red Star’s crashing point. Get to the chest and open it to receive the Salvager Vest.

Star 3 – Location

Retrieving Star 3

If possible, travel out to Shada Naw Shrine, found along the Northwestern slope of Hebra Mountain. You will need to go for a bit of a climb to reach the location to trigger the star. This is because you need to reach the Hebra Peak for this star. If you know where the Korok is for this location, that’s where you’re going.

Once you make it up to Hebra Peak, you will need to Look to the Southeastern sky. This will cause the Red Star to come crashing down.

Jump from the peak and start gliding toward where the star crashed down. When you get to the location, just open the chest to claim the Salvager Trousers.

Rewards:

None of this equipment can be upgraded at a Great Fairy nor Dyed at Kochi Dye Shop. All pieces grant a level of Swim Speed Increase. All pieces have a defense of 5.
