Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Apogek Shrine: Wings on the Wind Guide

Master the Apogek Shrine: Wings on the Wind in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Use Zonai Gliders and Fans to cross gaps, solve puzzles, find a Strong Zonaite Spear, and earn a Light of Blessing.

Summary

This Shrine is found in Lanayru Great Spring, on the Southern side of the Ja’Abu Ridge, above the Brynna Plain, nearby Lanayru Bay. Use the Zonai Devices to cross chasms and solve the few puzzles here.

Entrance

This Shrine is found in Lanayru Great Spring, on the Southern side of the Ja’Abu Ridge, above the Brynna Plain, nearby Lanayru Bay.

Puzzle 1

All the pieces needed to get through the gate at the bottom

Down the stairs, you will see a set of rails in front of you. To the left of the rails you can find a Small Sphere. Look to the platform to the left to spot a Zonai Glider. Use Ultrahand to grab the Glider and bring it over your platform.

Set the Zonai Glider at the top of the rails. Use Ultrahand to grab the nearby Small Sphere and connect it to the Glider. With all of it connected, use Ultrahand to push the Glider forward just a little. Glide across and land on the far balcony.

On the balcony, you will find a Divot for the Small Sphere. Detach the Sphere and drop it in there. This will raise the bars in front of you and let you into the next room.

Puzzle 2

Head to either raised section. Each one has a Zonai Fan active. Use one of the active fans to get lifted up to the top of the ledge in front of you with your Paraglider. There’s a quick side puzzle to solve before moving on to finish this shrine.

Puzzle 3 – Chest

Look back over the ledge, down to the fans. Use Ultrahand to grab and lift one up.

Reaching the Chest and claiming its contents

Go over to the left-hand side of the room, where you can see the ledges making some steps. Set it against the highest step. Jump onto the fan’s updraft and use the paraglider to ascend.

This will let you easily reach the Chest sitting on top of this step. Open it to claim the Strong Zoniate Spear inside it.

Puzzle 4 – Innermost Chamber

There are 2 ways to get across the gap. There is a Zonai glider sitting on the right-hand side of the ledge you’re on with the tracks. There are also Zonai Gliders steadily falling on the middle and left-hand tracks. Use the Glider on the right-hand side to have the easiest time getting things set up.

Grab a Zonai Glider with Ultrahand. Set it at the top of the tracks. Connect 1 of the Zonai Fans to the back of the Glider with Ultrahand. Once again, use Ultrahand to nudge the glider on its track and let is slide off. Have Link stand in the circle at the middle of the Glider.

Once the Glider is airborne, strike it to activate the fan. Shift Link forward, back or to the sides to adjust your flight path. Getting to the far side, you will want at the foot of the statues within the Innermost Chamber.

Activating the Gylph to finish the Shrine

At this point, just head forward. Go up the stairs. Just in front of you if the Glyph to activate the Statues and complete the Shrine. Do so to gain the Light of Blessing for having completed the challenge.
