Description

Encased in ice, this Cave has numerous small tunnels that are blocked off by destructible rocks. Blast them apart with Bomb Arrows or Smash through with blunt weapons to find the supplies. By unleashing the 3 floods of water you will unlock the Vah Medoh Divine Helm.

Walkthrough

Entrance

This Cave is found behind a massive Ice Block. To get in you will need to melt the Ice. This can be done with a Ruby affixed to a Weapon or Shield (but it will take some time). You can also create a series of camp fires to met the ice. Just make a new campfire each time the ice is out of range of the fire.

Exploring the Cave

Once inside the Cave, you will find a simple area to explore. Just ahead search the sides to find some Bomb Flowers. A little further in you can find an Ore Deposit. Smash that for some useful gems. Get to the back of the tunnel. There are a few Brightbloom Seeds as well.

You’ll see breakable rocks sitting in the floor. Throw some bombs at it (or smash through with a blunt weapon). This will bring you into a tall shaft room for you to explore.

Start by stepping into the updraft in the middle. Look to the Southeastern wall to find an open tunnel along this section of wall. Getting into this small tunnel, you’ll find a Bomb Flower and Brightbloom Seeds.

You can blast a few mid-level destructible rocks. 1 to the Northwest will unleash a flow of water. 1 to the North reveals an Ice Keese. 1 to the Northeast reveals a small tunnel with an Ice Keese. This small tunnel has a new Brightbloom Seeds and a Bomb Flower.

After that, look to the Southern side of the shaft. Take a moment to blast the rock apart and add more water to the base of the shaft.

Look to the Southwestern section of the wall in the updraft to find another small tunnel there that you can blast open. Inside there you can find 2 Ice Keese. After that, get back into the updraft.

Turn to the West next to find another Destructible section of the wall. Blast it open with a Bomb Arrow.

Look to the Eastern side toward the top of the updraft. Blast it apart to find the third Waterfall. This will cause the massive statue to move. Through here, you will find a small room.

After all that, look to the ceiling this central room with the updraft. You can find the Bubbulfrog there. Shoot it down with an arrow and claim its Bubbul Gem.
