Summary

Help Teli gather the Cuccos that he scared out of their pen. 5 cuccos have scattered nearby and need to be brought back to their pen. Each presents a little challenge. Return them all and talk with Teli to receive a Silver Rupee for your efforts.

Teli lost five Cuccos. He has to find them all and get them back inside the fence before the stable staff find out what he’s done.

Walkthrough

Talk to Teli

Head to the back of Riverside Stable. There’s a small island connected to the Stables. Approach and talk with Teli. He’ll be worried about what’s happened. He scared most of the Cuccos out of their fenced area.

Collecting the Cuccos

There are 5 Cuccos spread around the Stable area. You will need to carefully approach each and then pick them up. With the Cucco in hand, you need to head back to the Cucco Pen behind the stable.

Bandstand Cucco

This Cucco is modestly easy to find. Head to the North of the Stable to the nearby bandstand. Between the Stage and seats you can find the Cucco pecking and meandering.

Inside Cucco

This Cucco is found inside the main part of the stable. Just head to the Northern wall and you will find it there.

Treed Cucco

For a “flightless” bird, this one is impressive. Go to the South of the Stable, where you can see the stock of construction materials. Look at the top of the trunk of the tree to see the Cucco pecking at the bark. The easiest way to get it down is to use Ultrahand to lit any of the large wooden planks by the tree up. This will startle the bird and it’ll drop down so Link can collect it.

Island Cucco

If you look to the Southwest of the Cucco Pen, you can see a bit of stone sticking out of the river. Pecking and exploring this rock is a Cucco. To get to it, head to the South of the Stable and get into the construction materials. Join the 3 long planks together, end to end, with Ultrahand.

With your “bridge” built, head toward the rock. Carefully walk across this bridge to the rock. Pick up the Cucco sitting on it.

Top of the Stables Cucco

This Cucco can be easily missed, if you stay close to the stables. It can be found on top of the Horse head that adorns the roof of the Stables itself. You will want to climb up the sides of the Stable tent or use Ascend to easily get onto the roof.

Once on the roof, you will want to head to underneath the Horse head. Once there, use Ascend to easily get up to the top. Carefully approach the Cucco after that. Just pick them up and jump off the horse head. The Cucco will slow Link’s fall and let you glide. Just steer toward the Cucco pen with this bird.

Depositing the Cuccos

For each Cucco, you will want to be a short distance back from the pen. This is so the Cucco has a chance to flutter down properly into the pen itself. They will drop down more in a diagonal line then the normal thrown arc.

Talk to Teli

Return to Teli by the Cucco Pen. He will thank you for your efforts. He'll pay you a Silver Rupee for your efforts.
