Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Side Quest – Supply-Eyeing Fliers Guide

Help Huck return to Rito Village in Supply-Eyeing Fliers. Find his location near Snowfield Stable, defeat three Aerocuda, and earn a Purple Rupee worth 50 rupees.

Summary

Link finds Huck. He is trouble by Aerocuda that have been attacking him. Link needs to defeat the group in the sky for Huck to be able to return to the Rito Village. Using Eyes fused to arrows or getting airborne and using his focus, Link can easily accomplish this task. He is awarded 50 rupees for his trouble.

This quest is available after completing “Tulin of Rito Village.”

“Huck was transporting supplies from Snowfield Stable to Rito Village when he was beset by monsters.

Now the monsters are circling above him, greedily eyeing the supplies”

Walkthrough

Talk to Huck

Huck at the top of the hill in the Tabantha Snowfield

Make your way to the Southwest of Snowfield Stable along the road. Watch for a tall rise as you pass through the South Tabantha Snowfield. This rise is found just before the Tabantha Village Ruins. You can see a bloom of smoke coming from it to get your attention. If you reach the ruins, you’ve JUST overshot it. Look to the nearby rise along the canyon ledge to find your destination.

Atop the rise nearby the canyon, you will find the Rito Huck. Talk with him to learn directly what’s happened to him.

Defeat the Aerocuda

Fighting the Aeroduca with Guided Arrows

There are 2 options for defeating the 3 monsters, and most of it is going to rely on what you have in your inventory.

If you’ve been stockpiling Keese Eyeballs, you can have a very easy time here. You only need 3-4 of them. Pull
If you don’t want to use the Eyeballs or want to just take a different approach, you will want to start shooting or make use of the signal fire. Throw a Hylian Pinecone (or fuse a Zonai Rocket onto a Shield) onto the fire and use the strong updraft with your Paraglider to quickly get above the Aeroduca. Fall just enough that the Aeroduca are easily in bow range. Once there, start using Focus to shoot them down from above.

The eyeballs are recommended to make it very easy to hit all 3 Aeroduca quickly. The Eyes home in on the target they are fired at!

Talk to Huck

Having defeated the 3 Aeroduca, go and talk with Huck against at the top of the rise. He’s very grateful and will give you what he can: a Purple Rupee. The quest will end and Huck, along with his crates and supplies, will vanish off to Rito Village.
