Make your way into the Emergency Shelter found at Lookout Landing. Inside, you need to find and talk with Gralens. He’s found to the West of the ladder. Ask about the “Unusual Monsters” and then after the “Three-Headed Monster.” He’ll explain about the monster that was sighted at the Bridge of Hylia in Faron.

Be sure that you have food that can replenish your stamina. This is especially true if you only have 1 wheel of Stamina. There are parts of this fight which call for a lot of Stamina. Either have a secondary wheel from a comfy bed

Find the Gleeok

Hunting the Gleeok, the Three-Headed Monster, will have you travel out to Faron. You want to head for the bridge overland, just following the roads to the South from Lookout Landing or use Popla Foothills Skyview Tower and glide to the West.

Fight the Gleeok

Lionk diving in to fight the Flame Gleeok

The Gleeok is normally facing to the North, so you can attempt to sneak up behind it from the South.

Fighting a Gleeok isn’t too easy. Add in the narrow top of the bridge, it gets a bit harder. You will need to keep that in mind as you weave through the firestorm you’re about to face.

The goal is to aim for the heads. You need to hit each of the 3 heads enough to stun them. When all 3 heads are stunned, then the Gleeok will collapse and be stunned. This is the only time it will cease it assault beyond it ascending into the sky. However, if you take a long while between stunning the heads, each can recover.

The attacks the Gleeok uses will change as its health bar progresses. Initially it’s just launching fireballs from its heads at you on the ground. This will eventually change to its being airborne will attacking. These Fireballs leave a flame on the ground that lingers for a few seconds.

Otherwise, you can expect to it occasionally give a gust from its wings if its on the ground. It will do this if it’s on the ground and Link gets close. This just forces you back a distance.

The Flame Gleeok loosing a Fire Beam and a Gust

When you reduce the Gleeok to 50% or less health, it’s attacks change. It now focuses on using flame beams that it emits from its mouth. These can linger on Link and do damage over time. It’s very important to quickly get out of the beams if they get close to you.

The Gleeok high in the sky

When the Gleeok is at 25% or less health, it enters its final attack phase. It will take to the air and fly up high. Don’t worry about the height. It’s about to give you the chance to get up there.

Wait for its attacks to begin. The Gleeok can fly-by, using its beams. More likely though, it will charge up a massive fireball. Avoid this attack and let its splash into the ground. It will create a strong updraft. This will let Link ascend with his Paraglider and reach the height of the Gleeok.

The massive fireball's remains off a strong updraft, that lets Link reach the Gleeok.

This round, when you stun the Gleeok, there’s a chance that the fall can take it out. The Gleeok will take damage if it falls from its lofty heights. If it survives, dive down and attack it to drain its remaining HP. Be sure to collect all the monster parts that it drops.

Report back to Gralens

With the Gleeok defeated, it’s time to return to Lookout Landing. Make your way back into the Emergency Shelter. Go back to Garlens and talk with him about how “I hunted something.” Tell him you’ve hunted a monster and that you’ve defeated the “Three-Headed Monster.” He will send out scouts to confirm this quickly. After that, he will give you the rupees for a successful hunt.
