Speak to Gralens to learn about the Stone Talus the Monster-Elimination Squad needs defeat. Hunt and defeat the Stone Talus by climbing up onto it and smashing the geode on it. Return to Gralens to claim your rewards.

Gralens of the monster-control crew at Lookout Landing told you that the team discovered a Stone Talus.

This huge boulder-like monster was spotted at North Akkala Foothill in Akkala.

Walkthrough

Talk to Gralens

Inside the Lookout Landing Emergency Shelter, go to the South, you will need to find and talk with Gralens. Talk to him about “Big Monsters” and then about the “Stone Talus.” He will give Link the information about the Stone Talus that can be found in Akkala.

Eliminate the Stone Talus

Coordinates: 4064, 2985, 0149

Travel out to Akkala. If you can Fast Travel to Jochi-iu Shrine, it makes your travel very simple. Travel to the West to find the Stone Talus. This is also to the West of the Akkala Stables in the area.

Fighting a Stone Talus can be a little tricky at first. There is a Gem Deposit somewhere on them. This is their sole vulnerable point. Only by attacking and damage it can you injure them. You can use Ascend to easily pass through it and attack the Deposit.

Return to Gralens

Make your way back to the Lookout Landing Emergency Shelter. Talk with Gralens, letting him know you’ve hunted a monster. He’ll ask which one you’ve defeated. Tell him you’ve defeated the Stone Talus and he’ll reward you.

Reward

  • If the third hunt, it rewards 300 rupees.
