Walkthrough

Entrance

An assembled bridge outside the Cave

Getting into the Cave itself is easy, but actually exploring the cave takes a little effort. There are a number of large planks nearby that can be attached to each other.

Crossing the freezing water

This will let you create a bridge. Alternatively, you can use Ultrahand to grab the small raft and get across with a Zonai Fan.

  • Avoid going in the water because you will take a heart of damage EVERY SECOND.

Talonto Peak Cave

Entering the cave itself

Once you are across the icy waters, the cave have a bit to show for itself. Immediately on the far side you can find Chillshrooms that you can collect. Head to the Northwest and down the slope.

The campsite inside the Cave

This will lead to 1 of the chambers. There is a circle of Chillsrooms around an extinguished campfire. You can use anything that generates flame to reignite the campfire. You can find a number of Ore Deposits, as well as Sticky Lizards and Brightcaps scattered around the chamber.

There really isn’t anything more in this chamber to find. However, there is 1 more chamber to explore

Bubbulfrog Location

Go up the slope to the foot of the cold pond blocking access into the cave. Look to the ceiling and to the North. You will see an opening above the start of the slope. You can either climb up or use Ascend to reach this semi-hidden chamber.

The defeated Bubbulfrog

Once you get into the chamber, you can see its sole occupant: the Bubbulfrog. Defeat the frog and claim the Bubbul Gem that it drops. After that, feel free to leave the cave.
