“Laissa, a resident of Rito Village, can’t seem to recall the location of a cave she found a while back. When you asked what she could remember about it, she said that she saw a white bird sitting atop the shadow of Vah Medoh’s perch at early morning. When she tried to go after it, the bird was gone, and in its place was the entrance to the cave.”

Walkthrough

Talk to Laissa

Find and talk with Laissa, who is higher up in the Rito Village. She explains about finding a glowing stone, like the one under the general store, inside a cave. She found this cave by looking for the White Bird. She found the bird by looking from Vah Medoh’s Perch. That perch is at the top of the Rito Village.

Climb to Vah Medoh’s Perch

To reach Vah Medow’s perch, you’ll need to put some work in. Head up to the top of Rito Village. At the top level, look upward to find where some of the perch hangs over the walkway. Use Ascend to begin getting higher up above the village.

Head to the circle inside of Vah Medoh’s Perch. Use Ascend to quickly ascend in the middle of the circle. After that, head up to the top of Vah Medoh’s Perch. Set up a campfire and wait until Morning.

When it’s Morning, it’s time to find the White Bird. Head along the perch that’s to the North. Get to the Northern end of the “Perch.” Look to the West and to the mountains. You can spot the White Bird toward the Northern end of the mountains along its side.

Find West Lake Totori Lake Cave

Use the Shiekah Slate to mark the “White Bird” on the mountainside. From the Perch start gliding to the West. You want to travel to the snow there.

Once inside, head forward, dropping down the few ledges to reach the first chamber of the Cave. There’s a pond that you can

As you explore, you can find: Brightcap, Chillshroom, Glowing Cave Fish, Chillfin Trout, Sticky Lizard, Brightbloom Seed, Giant Brightbloom Seed, Ore Deposits.

From the first chamber, head over to the Southwest, going up the slope and through the tunnel there. As you pass through this tunnel, look upwards. This is about the middle of the tunnel. Look to the right-hand side to find an opening above you. Climb up it.

This will bring you to a small adjacent chamber. You will find the Bubbulfrog hopping along the ceiling here. Defeat it, and claim the Bubbul Gem. Gather any other supplies found here.

In the back, you will find Wao-os Shrine, which is part of the White Bird’s Guidance Quest. Just approach the Shrine itself to complete the quest. Head into the Shrine to complete it. Collect everything you can after that. Go on out of the cave after that.
