Summary

• This is a unique quest to Oblivion Remastered Deluxe Edition

You heard about (and found) a note in the Talos District of the Imperial City. This lead you to the Shrines of Hircine, and Molag Bal and a quick visit to the Lucky Old Lady Statue in Bravil. Go to the Lonely Suitor Lodge and speak with the Innkeeper to be directed to the cook. Talk with the cook, Ranaline, to learn about where to go to interfere with the Mythic Dawn.

Walkthrough

Pamphlet 1 – Following Rumor

• You start this quest either by finding the first of the Mythic Dawn Pamphlets

Make your way to the Talos Plaza District of the Imperial City. In there, head for the Dragon statue in the middle. Look for the barrels sitting nearby the statue. Look to the left of the lamps in front of the statue. You will find the note sitting there on the side of the barrel. Just interact with it to read it and start this quest.

Pamphlet 2 – Hircine's Shrine

It’s time to head for the Hircine's Shrine. This shrine is found a distance to the South of the Imperial City. This is just to the Northeast of the Inn of Ill Omen, or Farefyl Inn. It’s a good distance Northwest from Bravil.

When you approach the Shrine itself, you will get an update. To find the note you will want to “Follow the wolf’s gaze.” Stand in front of the statue of the Daedric Prince and look West. You will see a nearby tree next to a rock just beyond the fire and the immediate shrine.

Go to the tree next to the rock. Look on the opposite side of the tree. Be sure that the bush at the base of the tree isn’t obscuring your view. Looking close to the base of the tree. You’ll find the note pinned into the tree.

Pamphlet 3 – Molag Bal’s Shrine

It’s time to head for the Shrine of Molag Bal. You can find Molag Bal’s Shrine a good Distiance to the West of the Imperial City. If you have found Nalfinsel, it’s just a little South of there. Or a short distance Northwest from Fort Wooden Hand.

Travel to the Shrine itself. Move into the middle of the benches. Look over to the East, toward the horizon. Just over the rock in that direction, you can see the pamphlet stuck to the tree facing toward the Shrine. Head over there and claim the pamphlet.

Pamphlet 4 – Lucky Old Lady Statue

One more Pamphlet is all you need to finish this collection part of the quest. Make your way to Bravil. The statue you’re looking for is in this town.

Inside Bravil, you will need to head for the statue in the plaza nearby the large Chapel. When you arrive at the Northern gate, you will want to head Southeast to find this plaza. Get into the basin of the statue there. Inside the basin, you want to look just to the right of the ramp leading up to the statue. This pamphlet sits on the inside of the statue’s basin, the Northeastern section. Collect it to read the note and find out your next stop.

The Shy Dunmer – The Lonely Suitor Inn

While the note talks about going to the nearby Inn, it’s not the right place to go. Make your way to the Southwest from the Lucky Old Lady statue. Go past the Mages Guild and across the bridge to the South.

Inside the Lonely Suitor Inn, go to the front desk. Talk with the Publican, Bogrum Gro-Galash, and ask him about the “Shy Dunmer.” He immediately thinks of his cook, Ranaline.

Ranaline can be found around the ground floor of the Inn. Approach and talk with her. You will need to raise her Disposition to 50 or above.

Once her Disposition reaches 50 or above, speak with her about the “Mythic Dawn Notes.”

Ranaline recognizes that you have been following the will of the Lord of Change. She gives you a Mythic Dawn Robe and Hood, allowing you to disguise yourself as one of the cult's members.

Ranaline then directs you to your next destination: Mingo Cave.
