Complete Hircine’s Daedric Quest in Oblivion Remastered. Learn where to find his shrine, hunt the Unicorn, and earn the Saviour’s Hide.
Summary
Once you are level 17, you can begin the Daedric Quest for Hircine from their shrine. You are sent to dispatch the Unicorn in Harcane’s Grove nearby. Eliminate (or avoid) the Minotaurs guarding the Unicorn, bring it down, and claim its horn. Present this horn it Hircine to complete the quest.

- Minimum Level: 17
- Required Offering: Wolf Pelt or Bear Pelt
Make your way to Hircine’s Shrine, to the North of the Inn of Ill Omens, and Northwest of the town of Bravil.
Once you arrive at the Shrine of Hircine, you will find its devotees. Approach the shrine itself. You must have either a Wolf Pelt or Bear Pelt to start the quest itself. The Daedric Lord will task you with hunting down the Unicorn
Hunt the Unicorn
The Unicorn in the Harcane Grove
Travel to the South of Hircine’s Shrine to reach Harcane Grove. It’s only a short distance away. You will find the Unicorn in the middle of the Grove itself. There are 3 Minotaurs of the Grove that guard the area. 1 to the North of the Unicorn. There are 2 more that are patrolling the Southern area. It’s possible, with some stealth, to avoid the Minotaurs.
- Important: The Unicorn can be mounted and used as a horse, but doing so will prevent you from completing Hircine’s quest. The Unicorn also cannot be equipped with armor.
Defeat the Unicorn, then loot its body to obtain the Unicorn’s Horn. You must take the horn with you to complete the quest.
Return to Hircine
With the Unicorn’s Horn in your possession, return to Hircine’s Shrine.
Interact with the shrine to offer the horn to Hircine. The Daedric Prince will reward you with Saviour’s Hide, a unique piece of Light Armor.
You will also gain 1 Fame.
