Complete the Dark Brotherhood quest A Kiss Before Dying in Oblivion Remastered. Find the Nornal dead drop, assassinate Ungolim in Bravil, and uncover the shocking truth behind the contracts.
Summary
After collecting the contract from the Sunken Chest within Nornal, the Hero will need to travel out to Bravil. You need to eliminate the Bosmer Ungolim there in front of the Lucky Lady statue at night.
Walkthrough
Get this Contract
The Entrance and Location of Nornal Ayleid Ruins
Now it’s time to head for the Ayleid Ruins: Nornal. This is to the East of the Imperial City, nearby Arkved’s Tower or Fort Sejanus. Either will make for a short trek to the Ruins.
Once you make it there, you will want to head inside. Inside, you will need to going down the stairs. Follow them to the right and through to the next set of stairs. At the bottom of these stairs, turn to the right. Here, you’ll see a flood room. Dive in with a waterbreathing spell or enchantment to make things simple.
Travel to Bravil
Bravil being a major city is very accessible. Just fast travel on over there to keep things simple.
Finding the Lucky Lady Statue is very simple. Once inside town, head a bit South toward the middle of town. Look for the first switchback set of stairs nearby the Silverhome on the Water. Look over to the West. You'll see the Statue sitting in the middle of the plaza.
Eliminate Ungolim
You need to eliminate Ungolim, a Bosmer (Wood Elf) who resides in Bravil. Once you arrive in Bravil, you need to wait until after 5pm-6pm to ensure Ungolim is in position.
If he sees you, he'll simply attack and you won't have to worry about anything. If you snipe him, there's a chance of getting a Bounty for Assault (or just wear the Gray Cowl of Nocturnal to avoid it).
Daily Schedule:
- 2am-5pm - Paces inside his house
- 5pm-2am - Stands at the Lucky Lady Statue
A Sudden Surprise
After you've killed Ungolim, you will be confront by Lucien Lachance! He explains that he's here to kill you since you abandoned your contracts and have been killing off members of the Black Hand and their Silencers! he offers a chance for redemption, if you can learn the source of this deception.
