Summary

“Next of Kin” is the second Dead Drop Contract that you are given. You need to wipe out the Draconis Family to complete it. Starting at Applewatch, a farm, you need to learn the location of the rest of the Draconis family. Following that, you need to eliminate all of them.

Walkthrough

Avoiding Bounties

• It helps to equip the Gray Cowl of Nocturnal to avoid getting the bounties for the kills.
• Using a Frenzy spell to have them attack Guards and get themselves killed
• Reverse Pickpocket 0 weight items with Damage Self effects onto the Draconis family members. Most have a trigger to equip an item, so just pass it to them and wait.

Collect the Dead Drop Contract

Having completed “Affairs of a Wizard,” you need to head to Chorrol and collect your reward and the second Dead Drop Contract. It is suggested to head to Applewatch, a Farm to the West of Bruma, to begin your hunt.

Eliminate Perennia Draconis

Travel out to Applewatch, a farm to the west of Bruma. Arriving there, look for Perennia. She could in the field, or inside the house. It’s not very hard to find her.

Perennia Draconis Schedule:

• 9pm-6am – Sleeps in cottage
• 6am-2pm – Working in her Garden
• 2pm-7pm – Reading inside cottage
• 7pm-9pm – Wanders Cottage

Just approach and talk with her. Preferably while she’s outside to avoid her dog noticing anything. Saying that you’re “looking for her children” will prompt her to think you’re from a delivery service she’s arranged for. She’ll pass you a list of her children and their locations after that. She’ll also pass you 100 gold for the gifts. After that, it’s time to strike and kill her.

You can also just attack and kill her. Just be sure to loot her body to get the list that has all the information on her children.

Eliminate Matthias Draconis

Matthias Draconis resides in the Talos District of the Imperial City. He’s easily to eliminate in his house where there are no witnesses. Alternatively, you can provoke him when he’s on guard duty in the Umbarcano Manor basement by simply being in the room with him. Very high sneak and good snipe allows for picking him off around when he leaves the Bloated Float Inn. Or just cast Frenzy on him while he’s close to a Guard.

Daily Schedule:

• 12am-5am – Sleeps in house
• 5am-6am – Guards entrance to Umbacano Manor
• 6am-6pm – Patrols around the Umbacano Manor and its backyard or patrolling the ground floor of the manor
• 6pm-9pm – Dinner at The Bloated Float Inn

Eliminate Andreas Draconis

Andreas Draconis runs the Drunken Dragon Inn Northeast of Leyawiin. He’s easily taunted into attacking. You can also cast Frenzy on him to get him to attack the Guard. Alternatively you can take out the Guard then Andreas (while Andreas is asleep).

Daily Schedule:

• 2am-6am – Sleeps behind counter pf Drunken Dragon Inn
• 6am-2am – Runs Drunken Dragon Inn

Eliminate Sibylla Draconis

Sibylla Draconis is one of the simplest kills in this set. She resides inside the Muck Valley Cavern. This short cave is filled with natural predators: Wolves, Bears and Lions. Clear out the animals and get into the deepest part of the cavern. Sibylla Draconis will attack you on sight normal (otherwise just be there passively).

Eliminate Caelia Draconis

Caelia Draconis is the Captain of the Leyawiin Guard. Try to avoid getting caught with her murder since it will result in a 1,000 gold fine. A good and well-hidden sniping can easily do the job (and only has the potential for a 40 gold fine for assault). This can also be done in the Three Sisters’ Inn by breaking in and lurking in a shadowed corner

Hitting her with Frenzy nearby Guards can still easily result in her death.

You can easily reverse pickpocket her, giving her a 0 weight Damage Self item. She will equip it when she enters the Three Sisters’ Inn around 7am.

• 6pm-7am – Patrols Leyawiin
• 7am-3pm – Inside Three Sisters’ Inn

Collect Your Reward and Next Contract

With the family eliminated, it’s time to head out to collect your reward and your next contract. Leave the location you’re in and head for Castle Skingrad’s Courtyard. Once there, go into the courtyard proper and go to the well in the middle. Interact with the well to find your payment and your next contract: Broken Vows.
