Walkthrough
Accept the Contract – The Night Mother’s Child

Talk with Ocheeva to get the contract. She explains that everyone at this party has wronged the host in some fashion and he has invoked the Black Sacrament against them. You are expected to pose as one of the guests and eliminate the others. You get a bonus if people don’t realize you are the murderer. You are sent to Skingrad for the Party.
You can buy poisoned apples for this mission from M’raaj-Dar. But only 1 target can be killed with them.
Travel to the Party

Leave the Cheydinhal Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary. If you have the Deceiver’s Finery from the last quest, this is a great time to use it. You are sent to Summermist Manor.

Equip the Deceiver’s Finery and make your way over to the Summermist Manor in Skingrad. It will always start a thunder storm as you approach the Manor while this quest is active. Talk with Fanir to gain entrance (and the key).

Eliminate the Guests
There are a lot of ways to go about eliminating all of the Guest. It’s going to be easiest either paying attention to the relationship dynamics, using Charm spells (or simply using a few well-timed Frenzy spells).
- If you have the Grey Cowl of Nocturnal, you can simply equip it and attack everyone in the open without losing your bonus
- You can only take out Nels with a Poisoned Apple, it just takes some patience
- You can lower everyone’s disposition toward you to provoke them into attacking you
With all that in mind, there are still a lot of ways to go about this task of stealthily eliminating the other Guests of the Treasure Hunt.
You can start by talking with Primo Antonius and Dovesi. Getting Primo’s disposition high will have him tell you that he likes Dovesi and he’ll ask you to put in a good word for her. You can use this to go talk with Dovesi. Tell Dovesi that Primo wants to meet her in his room. This is a great way to isolate her for a stealth kill. Just follow her there.
Otherwise, if Dovesi doesn’t get killed first, and she’s easy to isolate. Approach and talk with her. And when you’re given the option, choose “[Say Nothing].” In that case, she’ll head down to the basement and sit in a corner. If Dovesi is 1 of 2 other guests, you can persuade her to attack the other (this includes Primo) If she’s the last one alive (especially if she has a high disposition toward you), she’ll ask your help to escape.
It’s kind of easy to work with Matilde Petit. You can talk with her, and tell her “I’m here to kill you,” and she’ll respond with a laugh. She thinks its a joke. Raise her disposition, and she’ll offer to work with you to hunt for the treasure. You can use this to send her down into the basement. Follow her down there for a simple elimination. She can be persuaded to attack the other survivors if she is 1 of the last 2.
With Neville, take some time to raise his disposition of you. With a high disposition, and 3 surviving guests, you can tell him to eliminate Nels or tell him to hide and you’ll deal with Nels. Telling Neville to hide will have him go into his room. This makes him easy to eliminate later on.
Nels the Naughty is easy to keep track of. He’s supposed to move around, but will largely be in the same area. Always he’s drinking. He has a grudge with Neville and will attack Neville if it narrows down to them two. With a high disposition toward you, you can persuade him to attack most of the other guests toward the end.
If you don’t want to do all this social manipulation, you can also take advantage of the few hours most of the guests are asleep. While Dovesi and Matilde share a room, with stealth, its very easy to eliminate them one at a time.
With the guests eliminated, you will be able to leave the manor. It’s time to return to the Cheydinhal Sanctuary.
Report to Ocheeva
Make your way back to the Cheydinhal Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary. Report to Ocheeva. Talking with her, she'll pay you for your work. If you completed the task without anyone witnessing your kills, you will get the Night Mother's Blessing.
Rewards

- Night Mother’s Blessing (for completing the bonus objective)
