Learning About the Enchanted Chest from Julienne

This is a miscellaneous quest available to the Hero when they are Arch-Mage. You will have access to the Arch-Mage’s Quarters within the Tower.

Walkthrough

Talk to Raminus Polus

Talking to Raminus Polus to begin this quest

Return to the Arch-Mage Tower and talk with Raminus Polus. This secures your standing as Arch-Mage (and gets you all the Robes and Hood). You will also have see the dialogue option: “Ingredient Collection.” Ask Polus about this. He will tell you about Traven having Julienne Fanis collect alchemical ingredients for him. He tells you to talk to her to learn more about the arrangement.

Talk to Julienne Fanis

Next, you need to locate and speak with Julienne Fanis. Raminus explains that she can usually be found within the Lustratorium.

Enter the Arcane University and head to the far-right side of the grounds. The Lustratorium is the building located near the columns at the end of the path. Go inside.

Once there, find and speak with Julienne Fanis, who tends to wander throughout the building. Ask her about “Ingredient Collection.” She explains the purpose of a special enchanted chest she designed for Traven.

The Enchanted Chest

Head into the Arch-Mage’s Tower and climb up using the teleporters to the Arch-Mage’s Chambers. Once there, you will need to find the Chest itself. It sits to the right of the Bed. It is inbetween the Spellcrafter and the work desk set-up nearby the teleporter in.

Take the time to put one of the alchemical ingredients you have on hand into the chest. After that, either sleep or wait 24 hours. Open the chest and claim the 10 generated ingredients from the chest to complete the quest.

The Restrictions

Just like Julienne Fanis said, this chest has its limits:

Anything left in the chest for more than a week will be destroyed.
Putting multiple compatible ingredients will result in their destruction in 24 hours.
Unique versions of items will become normal versions of the items after duplication. For Example: Bloodcrust Vampire Dust will become Vampire Dust.
