Walkthrough
Find the Hidden Note

Once you access to Rosethorn Hall, there is a hidden Side Quest that can be completed. Enter the Hall and go up to the top floor. This will get you into the Bedroom. Once inside, either jump up on top of the stairwell leading into the bedroom or jump up from the desk.

On the covering of the stairwell, you can find the Long Forgotten Note. Ride it to learn more about this little mystery.
Solve the Riddle

You find the Note, and the riddle you are given is “Two bodies have I, though both joined in one. The more I stand still, the quicker I run.” This just tells you what to look for, but not where to look for it within the Hall.
Find the Hidden Cache

Make your way down to the basement of the Rosethorn Hall.

Look for the support pillar with the Garlic braids on it. Look to the Western side of the pillar.

Sitting in a nook up there, you can find an Old Hourglass. Interact with this to claim gems (2 Flawless Sapphires, 2 Flawless Emeralds, 2 Flawless Diamonds) and the ring: Ring of the Gray.
