Walkthrough
Travel to Mingo Cave

This cave is found in the Nibenay Valley, just to the North of the Green Road leading northward from Bravil. If you know where the Inn of Ill Omen is, it’s just a short distance away to the East. Head around the Inn and up the slope behind it. It’s only a short run away.
Entering the Cave

As you get ready to head inside, take a moment to equip your Mythic Dawn Robe and Hood. Having the robes and hood on will let you just enter the cave without any of the Cultists immediately turning hostile.
- You can enter the cave without the Mythic Dawn Robe and Hood, just the Cultists will immediately attack you.

Navigate the Cave

Inside Mingo Cave, begin exploring the first chamber. A Mythic Dawn Agent is standing inside. On the table in the middle of the chamber, you can find Mythic Dawn Commentaries Vol. 1, which is a Conjuration Skill Book.

Turn to the West, going past the Mythic Dawn Agent, and then follow the tunnel to the smaller chamber to the North. There’s a chest sitting just off the center on the right-hand side. Another Mythic Dawn Agent walks around here. There is a passage that leads to the West here. If you go down it, be wary as it turns to the North, where you see the next Mythic Dawn agent. Approaching that Agent will cause the ceiling to collapse on them!
After that brief exploration, go back to the first chamber. Head to the Northeast and go into that tunnel. Follow it to the next large chamber. You will see a number of cages, a Dremora and some Mythic Dawn agents. This is what you’re looking for.
Keep the Dremora and the Mythic Dawn in mind, since there’s a little more to explore in this cave. Inside this large chamber, turn to the left and take the nearby tunnel. Follow this through to the next chamber. In this chamber, go to the left (South) and over to the small rise with the Stalagmites. Just behind them you can find a Chest. Turn to the North after that to find a crate and another Mythic Dawn Agent. Go to the Western side of the chamber and take the tunnel there.
Following this tunnel to the South, you will see another Mythic Dawn agent. That is if you didn’t go to the West and explore off that first chamber. Otherwise you will see the other side of the ceiling collapse. Head on back to the large chamber with the cages.
See to the Ritual

In that large chamber with the cages, you will need to make a choice. Approach and talk with the Dremora, Mehrune’s Harbinger. They will explain what’s happening. They frame it as proving your hatred for the Septims.
You now have a choice. Either you can see the ritual through or eliminate the Mythic Dawn in front of the cage. It makes no difference with the outcome. The Harbinger is delighted if:
- Complete the ritual: Light the fire beneath the Imperial Soldier's cage, immolating them.
- Stop the ritual: Kill the Mythic Dawn Cultists overseeing the ritual while sparing the Imperial Soldier.
- Do both: Immolate the Imperial Soldier and kill the Mythic Dawn Cultists.
Regardless of your choice, they will give the Hero the Lesser Power that will allow you to summon them.
Summon the Harbinger
With the Ritual either completed or interrupted, you will need to talk with Mehrune’s Harbinger. They will grant you the ability to Summon them. This can be done at any time. Talking with the Harbinger, they will offer you the Weapons and Armor of the Cataclysm.
