Summary

The farmer Dantz has run out of Acorns. Help him get the acorns he needs so he can make the special mix for his cows. Doing this will enable you to trade him Acorns for bottles of milk.

Description

Dantz, a farmer in Hateno Village, is looking for acorns to mix into his cows’ feed so they can produce his special fresh milk.

He says he could mix more feed if he had three acorns, but a recent boom in the squirrel population has made them hard to come by.

Walkthrough

Talk to Dantz

Once you’ve made it into Hateno Village, you will want to head to the West and over to the Farmhouse connected to the local ranch. Inside the house, you will want to find and talk with Dantz. He can be around the farm, so it can take a little searching to find him. Otherwise, he'll be in the house.

Talking with him, he’ll explain that he makes a special mixture for his cows. He just needs 3 Acorns to make this mixture.

Collect Acorns

Now you have some options. If you already have Acorns on hand, you can just go ahead and give them to Dantz.

If you need acorns, it will only take a little effort to collect the needed number. Dantz hints that you can head over to the nearby trees to collect the needed acorns. Leave the house and head to the Northeast, along Lake Samuc.

It’s time to hunt for Squirrels and Acorns. Acorns sometimes appear when you cut down a tree in this area. This is faster than trying to hunt down the Squirrels. Those will appear in the trees more during the daytime hours.

Give the Acorns to Dantz

Once you collect 3 Acorns, head back to the farmhouse. Go inside and talk with Dantz. Hand over the Acorns to him. He'll offer to trade 3 Acorns for a bottle of Milk.
