Summary

Investigate the abandoned cabin to find Yammo and Jogo trapped inside by the nearby monsters. Defeat the monsters to free them. They'll award Link a Spicy Elixir and explain about Shield Surfing.

Walkthrough

Check on the Cabin

Make your way to the Abandoned Cabin found to the East of the Lucky Clover Gazette. Follow the road from the Gazette passing the Tabantha Hills Cave. A little ways up the road from there, you will see a cabin with some coming out of its chimney. Go over to the cabin.

Explore the Western side of the cabin. You will find a small opening in the wall that you can look through. Inside you will see 2 Hylians, Yammo and Jogo, talking about how they’re trapped in there because of the monsters in the area.

• Attempting to open the front door of the cabin will have Yammo and Jogo talk about hearing the nearby monsters. They won’t open the door until the monsters have been defeated.

Clear the Monsters

To the East of the Cabin, you can find a Bokoblin camp. A few of the Bokoblins can have Ice Fruit that they’ll throw, so be on guard for that. There are likely 3 Bokoblins found around the campfire.

Return to the Cabin

Having defeated the Bokoblins, Link needs to head to the door of the cabin. Interact with the door itself to have them let Link inside.

Inside the cabin, Yammo and Jogo will thank Link and offer him a Spicy Elixir for his efforts. Yammo will also explain about Shield Surfing if you are unfamiliar with the ability. She will also offer up the shield leaning against the fireplace.

To Shield Surf, Link needs to have a Shield Equipped. Link needs to ready his shield. After that, he needs to jump with “X” then start riding the Shield with “A.”
