Walkthrough

Talk to Glarens

Go into the Emergency Shelter at Lookout Landing. You want to head over to Gralens. Talk with him about “Unusual Monsters,” and follow that up by asking about the “Huge Silhouette.”

Find the Frox

It’s time to delve into the Depths. You are hunting the Frox found nearby the Stakijat Lightroot.

Defeat the Frox

Leaving the Stakijat Lightroot to hunt for the Frox.

Fighting the Frox can be difficult because of Gloom. That and being eaten once in a while.

As you approach, you will see that it is a massive creature. The curious part of it is the deposits on its back.

Striking the Ore Deposits on the Frox's back

You can stun the Frox by draining its health and hitting its singular eye. When stunned, it will flop down on the ground. Run onto its back and attack the deposits on its back. When its stun ends, the Frox will wiggle and launch Link into the air. While airborne, use the Paraglider to avoid falling into its mouth.

If you are close to the Frox, it will perform a slam attack that does some damage and knocks Link back and down. At some range, the Frox will lunge forward. It will slide a bit when it lands. Alternatively, it will perform a strong inhale, which can suck Link into the Frox’s mouth.

Return to Glarens

Make your way back to Lookout Landing. Return to the Emergency Shelter and talk with Glarens. Tell him you hunted something and choose "the Huge Silhouette."
