"Light effigies with fire" is an objective in the sidequest Cult Following: The Enkindling in Borderlands 2
Walkthrough[edit]
Equip a Fire-type weapon (that has some precision) and you need to go around Frostburn Canyon to light 3 Effigies to the Firehawk.
Effigy 1
Turn around and look just a bit up. You will see a Fire Effigy right there. Just hit it with whatever fire weapon you have on hand.
Effigy 2
Head to the Southwest into Bandit camp there, which is to the South of the Fast Travel Station, but North of Frozen Ant Lake. You will find the next marked effigy there. Light it up with your weapon.
Effigy 3
Head to the East now into Blisterpus Camp. As you reach the top of the slope, look straight across to the East. You will find the Third Fire Effigy sitting on a cliff far above the camp. This is where a precision fire weapon is very helpful. otherwise just keep shooting until you hit it. Get closer if needed and slaughter your way on through to get to that point.
