A fresh spawn is one who is newly spawned on the coast due to death. The freshspawn has the starter items of clothes and a flashlight. This class of players are meant to continue and loot until geared up, but will most likely be confronted with death. A cycle will continue that makes up the general storyline of DayZ Standalone.
