Walkthrough[edit]
Building the Bridge[edit]
- 3 people will need to be plates to begin, but once 3 are across, you can bring the rest of the fireteam steadily.
- While 3 people stand on the plates, you will be dealing with a relentless stream of Thrall and Acolytes rushing at the people on the plates.
- The plate holders need to stay there until the bridge itself is build.
- The bridge will dissemble over time if all 3 plates are not active.
- There needs to be a Guardian on the Left Plate, Center Plate and Right Plate, regardless of what side they're on.
- Actually building the bridge comes back to the Chalice of Light.
- Fill it up and then have someone take it from you, so you are Enlightened.
- Whoever is Enlightened needs to deposit it into this central Plate.
- Throughout this entire progress, someone needs to stand on the central plate.
- Getting off the plate will set you back at least 1 Enlightened.
- The Annihilator Totems will only be active for the side that has the active central plate.
Crossing the Bridge[edit]
- Do not attempt to cross the bridge with a Hive Cleaver, you will be afflicted by Bane of the Unworthy.
- You can also cross the bridge if you are holding the Chalice of Light.
- With the bridge built, the Swordbearer Knight will appear.
- The Fireteam Floaters needs to quickly kill the Swordbearer.
- Whoever is going across will need the Enlightened buff to be able to pick up the sword.
- The person going across the bridge will need to pick up the Sword from the killed Swordbearer.
- With contest mode, sending someone across with the Chalice of Light was the play to stay alive.
- The Swordbearer then needs to rush across the bridge.
- On the other side, after they cross the first plate, they will need to kill a Gatekeeper with the Hive Sword.
- Once the Gatekeeper is defeated, you will need to place the Sword into a pedestal that is marked.
- You can also find a Preservation Slot on this far side, allowing the Chalice Bearer a momentary reprieve if they fill it up.
- Once the Gatekeeper is defeated, the Swordbearer will need to Preserve the Sword by going to any of the markers on this side.
- 6 Swords will need to be banked to progress this encounter to the next phase.
Getting the Team Across[edit]
- As more of the Fireteam gets across, the Guardians on the far side of the bridge will need to stand on the plates.
- You will need to have the Guardians on the far side to stand on plates, as the players holding the plates need to come across.
- As those initial plate holders move, Guardians on the Far Side will need to stand on the corresponding plate.
- As more get on the far side, you will need to deal with the plates on the far side.
Lighting the Statues[edit]
- As you defeat the Gatekeepers, more opponents will appear, among them are the Fissure Ogres.
- Defeating them will light the statues and once all the statues are lit, the final phase will begin.
- This will bring in a large number of Gatekeepers.
- Most of the team should grab the Hive Cleavers while others drop healing wells or Wells of Radiance to support the team.
Opening the Door[edit]
- Once the Statues are lit, you will need to draw out the swords you have banked.
- A large number of Gatekeepers will appear and the fireteam needs to destroy all of them using the Hive Swords
- You can only take up a Hive Sword if you Enlightened.
Notes[edit]
- You cannot swordskate across the chasm anymore, you will get sucked down.
- While you are Enlightened...
