Eradicate the Taken Corruption is an Objective in the Dungeon: The Whisper in Destiny 2.

Summary

Walkthrough

• Inside this room, there are a number of Taken Blights, but also a lot of: Taken Thrall, Taken Vandals, , and a few Ravenous Taken Goblins andTaken Wizards.
• To progress forward you will need to kill the Ravenous Taken Captains.
• One can be found in the middle left of the room, another to the back center of the room, and one along the right-hand side toward the front.
• In the back left and right, you can spot a Ravenous Taken Vandal that will be attempting to snipe you.
• Once the right enemies are killed, then a bulge will manifest on the barrier in the back.
• Shoot this to open the way forward.
• Once there, you will need to head forward into the next chamber.
• Drop into the blue-lit chamber,and you will have more Taken to fight.
• This time a group of Taken Vandals as well as a pair of Taken Captains.
• Defeat all of this group and you will be able to progress forward.
• This opens the path, letting you reach the penultimate chamber.
• It's time to get to work in here.
• You only need to kill a few of the Taken (the Majors) before the barrier to manifest its bulge.
• The important targets are over to the left, on a small ledge, being a Ravenous Taken Knight, another on the right-hand side, nearby where you are.
• Continue along the right-hand side where you can spot another Ravenous Taken Knight.
• If you stay up along the right-hand side, you will find a Ravenous Taken Hobgoblin.
• Back along the back of the chamber is a trio of Ravenous Taken Hobgoblins.
• On the left-hand side, the important targets are more Ravenous Taken Knights.
• The first I mentioned before, being on a ledge on the left-hand side.
• The second is about the middle of the left-hand side on the ledge.
• This brings you to the final challenge before the boss chamber.
• There are a lot of Taken Psions around the triangular entrance to the area below.
• You will need to deal with Taken Hoboglins that are on the pillars around the area.
• There are 2 on pillars to the left.
• The bigger (immediate) problem is the pair of Ravenous Taken Phalanx that come up behind you.
• After that, you will need to clear the Psions.
• Once you are ready, you can destroy the bulge in the barrier in the middle.
• Destroy it and drop down into the area below.
• Jump from the slope quickly to land on the ledge opposite.
• It's time to defeat the bosses.
