Blacksmithing: Extraction in TESO
The extraction menu will allow you to extract materials, inspiration, traits, and tempers from weapons and armor in your inventory, or to refine raw metal into ingots that can be crafted into weapons and armor.
Select the category you wish to extract—a weapon, a piece of armor, or raw materials in the upper right corner of the extraction menu.
To extract from a weapon or piece of armor, double-click the item you wish to deconstruct, then press the R key to confirm the deconstruction.
- Deconstruction will destroy the item
To refine raw metal into an ingot double-click the raw metal, then press R to confirm the refinement
