The Magical Anomaly is a group event. There are 5 spread across the whole of Craglorn. This is a scaling group event. This means that the number of enemies (and the quality of the items in the treasure chest) scale to reflect the challenge you are presenting yourself.
Running Magical Anomalies[edit]
In each of the areas you will find a Focus Crystal. You can start the event by attacking it. Throughout the fight, try to get damage in on the Red Focus Crystal. When the crystal is destroyed, an Air Atronach will appear as the boss.
When the crystal is attacked, a number of enemies will appear. The first wave is very easy, just your basic foes from around the area. As the battle rages on, you will encounter Daedric foes like Frost Atronachs and Storm Atronach and more, like Spellfiends.
Rewards[edit]
When the Focus Crystal is destroyed and the Air Atronach is defeated the Anomaly is concluded. Each player will be awarded with a Treasure Chest of items that are scaled to their level.
