Find Eddie Winters Holotapes is a quest objective in the mission Long Time Coming in Fallout 4.

Walkthrough[edit]
Each of the remaining holotapes are scattered throughout the Commonwealth. They are flagged as quest items and cannot be removed from your inventory until this Quest is complete.
Each of the tapes will be found inside the location. Either they will be loose or can found be in a terminal.
Eddie Winter Holotape 0[edit]
Location: BADTFL Regional Office
Once you clear out the Raiders in front of the BADTFL Regional Office then you will want to head inside.
Enter quietly and get through the first room. Just past the first door to the North you will encounter a pair of Raider talking about the Laser Turret that is holding them back. It is just around the corner on the ceiling to the east. It is just above the door you can see there.
Having deal with the turret and Raiders, head to the West. Go through the door there and then turn to the North. The evidence room has more Raiders and an Attack Dog. There is one Raider to the West of the door you came in from and another in the Northwestern room.
Deal with the dog and raider then access the BADTFL Evidence Terminal. You will find more information on the Eddie Winter Holotapes. Holotape 0 is here in the Evidence room annex. Holotape 8 is being held in Police Precinct 8
Head out of the room from the the Terminal to the East. In the next room, you will see a set of stairs going downward. This room also has another pair of Raiders. One of whom is named, Sparta. Take her out quickly with a Sneak Attack if possible. Anything past a short firefight will draw the attention of two more Raiders from the Basement. They will immediately start attacking.
Head down the stairs. The Raiders will be lounging and guarding the area if they are not drawn upwards by any gunfire. Go just past the desk with the working terminal. On the nearby Filing Cabinet you will find Holotape 0
Eddie Winter Holotape 2[edit]
Location: Malden Police Station
Arrive at the location and head for the Police station that you can see just to the South of Malden Station. Go between the Police Station and the Subway Station entrance. On the Northern side of the Police Station, you will find an open door.
Go in and turn to the right. Head up the stairs there to the next level of the station.
On the top level of the Police Station, look to the South. You will see a terminal sitting against the far wall.
You will want to look at the backside of this terminal to get the Eddie Winter Holotape 2.
Accessing the terminal by the tape will say that holotape 2 was checked out by the Malden PD (which you just acquired) and that Holotape 5 was checked out by Nahant Sheriff's Department.
Eddie Winter Holotape 3[edit]
Location: Quincy Police Station
Enter the building from the East. Stop at the first Police Terminal and access it if you want. This gives a little background on the Raiders that have settled in this location. They have a suit of Power Armor though, so be wary of it.
After that head for the door just past the terminal in the left-hand wall. This will lead to the Quincy Police Lock Up.
Inside the Lock Up, head down the stairs. Turn to the left at the bottom of the stairs, ignoring the Protectron for now. If you need some extra support, there is a terminal nearby you can use to control the Protectron.
Turn to the left and head down to the last open locker on your left. In this locker you will find Eddie Winter Holotape 3. Access the terminal nearby it to learn more about the other tapes. Tape 3 ha been received by an Officer Hart on 10/20/77. Holotape 7 had been mailed out to South Boston Police. Finally, Holotape 9 is in the possession of the Commonweath Coast Guard.
Eddie Winter Holotape 4[edit]
Location: Natick Police Department
Head for the front door of the ruined Police Department. Once inside, go to the right and take the stairs up to the next level.
On this level, turn to the West. Jump the gap in the floor and head over to the terminal in the corner.
This terminal will tell you about 2 tapes: Holotape 4 being in Natick and Holotape 9 being with the Coast Guard Pier.
Drop down to the ground level of the Police station. Head down the middle of the station to the North. To the left is the evidence locker. Head inside it.
Go to the last locker and you will find Holotape 4 inside it.
Eddie Winter Holotape 5[edit]
Location: Nahant Sheriff's Department
Head for the open door on the Easterm side of the building or any of the holes. Go inside and head to the North.
Just past the cells you will see a staircase leading up. Take that to reach the top level of the building.
Once there, turn to the right. You will see the next terminal you are looking for to track down more of the Holotapes. Holotape 5 is in Evidence Lockup, cabinet K-08. The terminal says that Holotape 6 is on loan to East Boston PD.
Turn to the East from the Evidence Terminal. Look on the cabinet by the broken floor. You will find Eddie Winter Holotape 5.
Eddie Winter Holotape 6[edit]
Location: East Boston Police Station
Head to the Southern side of the Police Station, entering from the water. Take whatever entrance works the best for you.
Once inside, head to the East and take the stairs there up to the next floor.
Once on the next floor, head over to the West. Access the terminal to find the location of the present tape and Eddie Winter Holotape 7
Tape 6 had been checked out an office had the tape. Tape 7 was mailed to the South Boston Office a few weeks before the Great War. Eddie Winter Holotape 6 can be found
Head out of the the ruined room with the terminal. Turn to the South and look at the desk across the "building". I nside the desk you will find Eddie Winter Holotape 6.
Eddie Winter Holotape 7[edit]
Location: South Boston Police Department
When you arrive at the South Boston Police Department you will need to make your way up to the second floor. Head on in through the door on the Southern side of the building.
Once inside the building, be wary of Vicious Mongrels. Head straight to the Southeast and access the Evidence Terminal there.
On the terminal you will learn who had the Eddie Winter Holotape 7 and that Holotape 3 was on loan to the Quincy Police Station and Holotape 5 was requisitioned by the Nahant Seriff's Department.
Turn to the East and take the stairs there up to the second floor. At the top there are a pair of Mongrels you will need to deal with.
Head to the Northeastern corner of this floor. To the right of the empty terminal is Holotape 7.
To the right of the empty terminal is Holotape 7.
Eddie Winter Holotape 8[edit]
Location: Police Precinct 8
Head into the Police Precinct from the East. There are just a few Radroaches in your way. Go up the stairs and turn to the left. There is a chance of a nearby Feral Ghoul or two trying to ambush you as well.
Go through the first door you see on the left. Head down to hallway to the West and into the next room.
This leads you to the Precinct 8 Evidence Terminal. Access it to learn more about the Holotapes locations. Holotape 7 is said to be with the South Boston Police. Holotape 4 is in evidence lockup with the Natick Police Station. Holotape 8 is said to be missing from the evidence cabinet.
Get up from the terminal and head to the East, back where you came from. This time, go to the left and over to the first cell to your left on the Eastern side of the building.
Open the door and then look on the small seat next to the toilet. There you will find the Holotape.
Eddie Winter Holotape 9[edit]
Location: Coastguard Pier
When you arrive, make your way to the South. You will find the remains of a Coast Guard Building. Go over to the Western side of the building, and head through the door.
Just across from the door you will find the Coast Guard Lockup Terminal. Access it to and look into the Eddie Winters File.
This will tell you who had the tape sent here and where some of the other tapes are. Specifically that Holotape 3 and Holotape 4. Holotape 9 arrived and was due to be files in the evidence safe. Be sure to use the remote door control on the terminal to open up the security door.
Head outside the building and around to the Eastern side of it. Get to the floor above where you were accessing the terminal. Keep on this floor and head to the Southern side of it.
Underneath the ramp, just behind the remains of the wall, is Holotape 9.
