Walkthrough[edit]
- Make your way to the Sector 5 Train Station and use the narrow passage leading out to the East to begin your search.
- Smash the crates and fight through the Hedgehog Pies and Gorgers.
- Head to the ladder nearby Scrapyard Back Alley, taking the right-hand path at the fork in the path, leading down into the area with the ladder you had to unlock.
- Take the ladder here down to the Southeast and look to the East to spot a Chocobo.
- Approaching the scared Chocobo, you will encounter a Rust Drake.
- It Absorbs Magic, so be careful while fighting it not to use Attack Magic.
- Focus on melee or ranged attacks if Barret has a LMG equipped.
- Be wary of its magic and keep everyone health with a lot of Cure/Cura/Regen.
- Using Manaweft can help to reduce some of the damage incoming from the Drake.
- After the fight, simply approach the Chocobo and interact with them to give them the greens and have them return to Chocobo Sam.
