InFamous Second Son is the third title in the InFamous series by Sucker Punch, and the first to appear on Sony's PlayStation 4 console.
The game stars a new protagonist named Delsin Rowe and gives him a brand new set of powers to work with, the likes of which allow for more flexibility to gameplay and story than old protagonist Cole's.

Story[edit]
Second Son is set after the events of InFamous 2, assuming that players received the ending in which Conduit powers were spread out among the general population. This gives many people their own unique superpowers, causing a chain reaction that manifests in the creation of the DUP, a government agency designed to control and monitor Conduits.
Delsin, the protagonist of the game, does not know that he is a Conduit when the game begins. He only finds out when a convoy carrying other Conduits crashes just outside of his hometown of Seattle, Washington.
As Delsin touches one of the Conduits, he absorbs his power and realizes that this has been his dormant strength all along. Armed now with smoke projectiles and the knowledge that he can continue absorbing more powers, Delsin acts out against the DUP against the wishes of his protective brother.

InFamous Second Son is exclusive to the PlayStation 4.
Release Date[edit]
Second Son is targeted for a release window date, so it should launch alongside or soon after the PS4.
Seattle[edit]
The introduction of Seattle marks the first time that the InFamous series has used a real city instead of a parable like Empire City.
Developer Sucker Punch wanted to bring this game closer to home, since they operate out of Seattle.
