Pathfinders are elite units, tasked by the Andromeda Initiative to find a suitable habitable planet in the Andromeda Galaxy, for the colonists from the Milky Way.
Every Ark has its own Pathfinder Team.

Ryder is the Recon Specialist of the Pathfinder Mission Team of Ark Hyperion.
